Important Information to Know Before You Book a Boat Charter

Captain Romance accommodates up to 16 passengers* plus the captain and the mate per US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations.
*This includes children.
Minimum 6 People to Cruise. We must have bookings for 6 to leave the dock for a group charter.
Our Rates: We reserve the right to update our prices as on our website and in our booking system.
Be On Time. Our tours run on a tight schedule. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure. FYI: It will NOT BE possible to extend your tour time if you arrive late. No refunds will be given.
No shows and cancellations of less than 48 hours will never be refunded. If you need to change your cruise date, pleae call within a minimum of 48 hours before the tour, we will try to reschedule your tour time.
Parking: We encourage you to valet park, uber or if self parking make sure you park in the Boathouse Restaurant’s designated parking spaces.
48 Hour Non-refundable Cancellation Policy. No refunds if cancelled within 48 hours of the tour.
We Reserve the Right to Cancel Tours at any time due to weather, safety, or mechanicaI issues. If your tour is canceled due to any of these 3 things, we will either provide you with a rain check to re-book at another time or a full refund.
During brief cycles of inclement weather we may “wait out” a brief shower, rebook for another day during your stay, or refund if we are unable to reschedule.
Cancellation Requests require a phone call or text message to us. An email sent to us is not enough to confirm the cancellation. Your booking is not confirmed until you have received cancellation confirmation email back from us.

Inclement Weather: For weather related issues, we may “wait out” a brief shower, reschedule for another day during your stay, or refund if unable to reschedule. We operate in the rain because we are a covered vessel. Cruising safety is up the captains discretion. We operate under USCG’s regulations. The USCG advises not that boats do not go out if wind speeds exceed 20 knots. The captains may choose to cruise in calmer waters sheltered behind the mangroves and island.
Your Captain: Your boat will be driven by a USCG Master Boat Captain assisted by a First Mate.
Your Cruise Plan: The Captain reserves the right to adjust cruise plan according to weather and water conditions.
Tipping: Our Captains and Mates work hard for you please remember to tip them.
Cruises are BYOB! Bring your beverage of choice, mixers and a small cooler. We will provide cups and ice available for your drinks.
What to Bring: Please remember cruising essentials including bug spray. (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and extra water and dress according to the weather.)
Personalized Cruises are available. To inquire please email us. You may also make a group tour a private tour by selecting the private charter upgrade.
Life Jackets: There is a Type 1 PFD Life Jacket for every passenger on board as per the coast guard requirements for the vessel. We also have a first aid kit and fire exstinguishers on board.
Music: We will provide a Bluetooth stereo speaker connection so that you can link up to our stereo and play your own music.
Attire: Everyone is required to wear shoes. You may wear boat shoes, sandals, wedge heels only, no stilettos or spiked heels as they will damage our decks. Please be respectful to the restaurant patrons, at the Boathouse by wearing proper attire in the restaurant and around the docks. You may wear bathing suits on the boat however appropriate coverups are required before launching.
Dogs Are Allowed when booked on a private charter only.

Children Are Allowed: Kids must be 30 lbs and over to fit our coast card approved life jackets. Please email us to inquire about which tours are available for children.
Restrooms: Our boat, Captain Romance is fully equipped with a restroom. We ask if possible please keep your restroom use to number one only. ( Please do not flush your toilet tissue it will clog the toilet. Place it in the designated garabage can in the restroom).
